Our client, an international Oil and Gas Company are currently looking for an Expat Petroleum Engineer to work in their Kuala Lumpar office

Responsibilities
Petroleum & reservoir engineering responsibility for supporting our client’s Oil & Gas development projects.
Build and provide expertise in Integrated Production Modelling (IPM).
Provide petroleum & reservoir engineering support for the development of the Area Development Plan (ADP), Field Development Plan (FDP), Full Field Reviews (FFR) and production optimisation.
Conduct technical evaluations of reserves and fluid distributions in individual reservoir system utilising petrophysical, geological, seismic data and production data.
Develop well production and deliverability profiles for different field production scenarios as required.
Build dynamic reservoir simulation models using Eclipse 100 software. Conduct reservoir simulation history matching for reserves monitoring and optimising recovery efficiency under primary and secondary recovery mechanisms.
Establish and maintain technical database of all reservoir properties and performance data in conjunction with FDPs’ & FFRs’ and all history matching and production predictions simulation runs.

Requirements
Masters Degree in Petroleum Engineering or similar Engineering discipline.
Demonstrated expertise/ expert user in Integrated Production Modelling.
Knowledge and previous working experience of fields in shallow water areas is a significant advantage.
Experience in FDP, reserves evaluation, simulation modelling and development engineering in clastic reservoir facies.
Major experiences with practical application of reservoir engineering principles to optimise reserves, recovery factors and production under various reservoir production strategies in oil and gas reservoirs.
Liaise with other technical and commercial disciplines (drilling, geology, production, and commercial) to ensure constructive and full integration of pertinent data into all reservoir asset evaluations.
Computing skills, IPM Suites, Eclipse 100, Eclipse Office, Grid, PVT, MBAL/Matbal, Saphir/Pansys, Wellflo/Prosper, Microsoft Office, Access.
Excellent demonstrated presentation skills to Management, Partners and Government agencies.
Fluent in English-written and spoken. Ability to write high calibre/quality technical reports.
