vacancies based in Hanoi, Vietnam:

IT DIRECTOR – based in Hanoi, Vietnam (Ref: ITD-VN)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage an IT team for the delivery of sophisticated and cost effective IT systems to timely meet the mobile business needs
2. Manage the on-going changes required to meet the dynamic business requirements for prepaid system, IN, postpaid system, customer service system, POS, financial reporting system, data warehouse, office computer system interconnection charging system, roaming solutions, Oracle databases and etc.
3. Develop the RFP requirements, manage tender process efficiently
4. Manage vendors and content providers for the quality deliverables of targets
5. Manage the annual IT CAPEX and OPEX budgets
6. Ensure that the process and systems are Sarbanes –Oxley compliant

Job Requirements:

1. Holder of IT or Computer degree in related discipline and conversant with the latest IT development in telecom industry
2. Minimum 12 years of relevant experience in mobile communication industry, in which at least 7 years at managerial level or above
3. Solid experience with tracked records in mobile IT system design, Oracle database, billing interface protocols and GSM specifications (Diameter, TAP3, SMPP, etc), SIM cards development and provisioning
4. Experience in RFP documentation and tendering process
5. Excellent communications skills and fluent in written and spoken English
6. Experience in working abroad in South / SE Asia is a definite advantage

HEAD of CORE NETWORK & VAS – based in Hanoi, Vietnam (Ref: HCNVAS-VN)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for design, deployment, expansion and acceptance of Cellular Core Network, Data Core Network, Roaming, Wireless Intelligent Networks, SMSC, MMSC, Ring back Tone Platform and other VAS
2. Monitor performance, capacity and utilization of the Core Networks, including circuit and packet core and VAS systems and provide recommendations for optimal operations
3. Design and define the RFI/RFP requirements and evaluate the RFP response
4. Define and document the governing procedures to oversee suppliers managed services
5. Troubleshoot network faults and provide recommendation

Job Requirements:

1. Holder of Telecom Engineering or Computer degree in related discipline
2. Minimum 10 years relevant experience in mobile communication industry, in which at least 3 years at managerial level
3. Solid experience in Core and VAS network design , GSM and 3GPP specifications and interface protocols
4. Experience in RFP documentation and tendering process
5. Fluent in written and spoken English
6. Experience in working abroad in South / SE Asia is a definite advantage

TRANSMISSION MANAGER – based in Hanoi, Vietnam (Ref: TM-VN)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for the design, planning, deployment, continuous expansion and acceptance of transmission system, including microwave PDH, SDH and optical fibre
2. Monitor performance, capacity and utilization of the transmission systems and provide recommendations for optimal operations
3. Design and define the RFI/RFP requirements and evaluate the RFP response for recommendation
4. Interface with government authorities for microwave frequency approval and other licenses required for transmission system construction
5. Define and document the governing procedures to oversee suppliers managed services
6. Troubleshoot network faults and provide recommendation for suitable corrective actions

Job Requirements:

1. Holder of engineering or Communications degree in related discipline
2. Minimum 10 years relevant experience in mobile communication industry, in which at least 3 years at managerial level
3. Solid experience in microwave, optical fibre transmission design, long haul submarine cable system, interface protocols (SDH, ATM, STM, DWDM, etc)
4. Experience in RFP documentation and tendering process
5. Fluent written and spoken English
6. Experience in working abroad in South / SE Asia is a definite advantage
